These are the release notes for Tracking Hub and Studio Manager version 1.4.2. This document describes the user-visible changes that have been made to the software since release 1.4.1.

Supported Drivers and Software

This software has been tested to run on:

  • Windows 10 64-bit.

  • Viz Engine 3.7.2 or later.

  • Viz Engine 4.0.0 or later.

  • Version 5.34 for Plura PCL-PCI and PCL-PCIe (LV, 3G) timecode reader cards (available on the Vizrt FTP in Vizrt Drivers/Alperman PCL).

  • SafeNet Inc. Hardlock Key driver Version 8.11.42480. The driver is included in the installation package.

  • WIBU Codemeter 7.10.A The driver is included in the installation package.

This software has been tested with Viz Arc 1.2.

The Lensfile Editor has been tested on the following browsers:

  • Chrome

  • Safari

  • Firefox

These are the release notes for Tracking Hub and Studio Manager version 1.4.1. This document describes the user-visible changes that have been made to the software since release 1.4.0.

New Features

The Cyc Editor is now able to send data directly to shared memory of Viz Engine. This improves workflow and usability (VIZVS-1450).

These are the release notes for Tracking Hub and Studio Manager version 1.4.0. This document describes the user-visible changes that have been made to the software since release 1.3.1.

Minimum Hardware Configuration

  • Minimum 16 GB Ram

  • Dual-Core Intel CPU

  • 10 GB free disk space

  • OpenGL Hardware-accelerated Graphics Card

Recommended Hardware Configuration

  • 32 GB Ram

  • Quad-Core Intel CPU

  • 30 GB of free disk space

  • NVidia P2000 Graphics Card

Supported Drivers and Software

This software has been tested to run on:

  • Windows 7 64-bit.

  • Windows 10 64-bit.

  • Viz Engine 3.7.2 or later.

  • Viz Engine 4.0.0 or later.

  • Version 5.34 for Plura PCL-PCI and PCL-PCIe (LV, 3G) timecode reader cards (available on the Vizrt FTP in Vizrt Drivers/Alperman PCL).

  • SafeNet Inc. Hardlock Key driver Version 7.41. The driver is included in the installation package.

  • WIBU Codemeter 6.60a. The driver is included in the installation package.

This software has been tested with Viz Arc 1.2.

Attention: Virtual Studio 1.4.0 is the last version of Tracking Hub and Studio Manager supporting Windows 7.

The Lensfile Editor has been tested on the following browsers:

Lensfiles

This version of tracking hub introduces a new XML-based lensfile format. On start, Tracking Hub converts old lens files to the new lens file format. The old files are moved to C:\ProgramData\vizrt\VizTH\Lensfiles\old_lcb folder.

Installation

  • Administrator privileges are required to install Tracking Hub/Studio Manager.

  • If the license dongle driver reports errors, please uninstall and reinstall the driver manually.

Known Issues

  • Studiomanager and Lensfile Editor require a valid OpenGL/WebGL context. If no OpenGL/WebGL context can be acquired, certain tools are not available.

  • Visual representation of multiple camera usage for Motion Analysis during lens range calibration.

  • Localhost should be allowed always as an option for network connection.
